Our quality assurance is based on our ISO 9001: 2008 certification, through which we document and manage all processes and tests. The continuously documented quality controls which span the entire production cycle of a stainless-steel vessel are an absolute must in order to meet the sometimes extremely high requirements of our long-term international customers.
Another important aspect which guarantees the high quality of our stainless-steel vessels is the on-going training provided for our engineers, technicians and skilled workers. In addition to our own high-quality targets and those required by our customers, constant monitoring by independent bodies such as TÜV Süd, TÜV Chemie Service or TÜV Nord is commonplace for Bolz & EDEL.
Such monitoring from independent agencies is particularly relevant in our welding processes and for all our pressure vessels.
Dokumentation
– sometimes the paperwork is more valuable than the vessel!
Is the documentation for your stainless-steel vessel very important to you? Do you also regard keywords such as “comprehensive”, “thorough”, “clear” and above all “complete” as basic conditions? We also see things that way and guarantee you a high-quality documentation for your vessel, tailored to the requirements of your industry.
At Bolz & EDEL, all manufacturing processes, intermediate and final tests, TÜV documents and material certificates are fully documented, making your pharmaceutical vessel, process vessel or brewery tank traceable and “future proof’. “Traceability” as well as “GMP-compliant” and “pharmaceutical-compliant” are no challenge for us – in fact, it is part of our daily business. In addition to our basic documentation package, we are always as flexible as possible for you and are happy to adapt any vessel documentation to your personal and industry-specific requirements.
FAT / Acceptance
… we’ll show you what we can do!
Is viewing your final product personally prior to acceptance important to you? Many customers like to carry out a personal factory acceptance test, also known as a FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), before their pharmaceutical vessels and chemical tanks are delivered. Our highly qualified project team will be happy to assist you with your vessel FAT. Do you still need any additional equipment for your tests? No problem, we are very well equipped. At Bolz & EDEL you have access to all calibrated measuring equipment and to our mobile pump station with flow meter for cleaning tests, including of course our fully demineralized water. It goes without saying that you can make use of our premises and the necessary cranes. Typical tests that we carry out together with you at a vessel FAT are, for example:
- Completeness check
- Check of the dimensions
- Surface tests
- Material tests
- Deta ferrite measurements
- Cleaning tests (riboflavin test)
- Residual emptying test
- Pressure holding test
- Saline test
- Documentation review
All tests are of course documented and form part of your final vessel documentation.
